Our dear dad, now 72, has always been a wonderful figure of strength and devotion to us. In recent years, he was diagnosed with Pneumonia and has been confined in the hospital three times in the past five years. On Tuesday, 3rd September 2019, he was confined again due to complications in his left lung. The following day, my mother and sister were shocked to hear that he needed to be transferred to a larger hospital for more intensive care. His vital signs were not stabilizing and his illness caused him to suffer a cardiac arrest. He is now on ventilation in order give his body enough oxygen. Like any family with a sick loved one, we are all praying for his health and would do anything to give him the vital treatment he deserves. Unfortunately, medical care is not subsidized in the Philippines where he lives. This means his hospital expenses are much more than our family can afford. Your kind donations will allow us cover these costs and give this much-loved father of six the best chance of recovery. This will make a world of difference to our whole family.
