Support Ysabella’s fight against leukemia—help us raise funds for her medical bills and vital bone marrow test. #FaithOverFear
Westgate, Auckland
It all started when Ysabella began showing unusual bruising—large black marks (known as pasa in Filipino) that wouldn’t go away. Then came her first menstruation, which was alarmingly heavy because she was using more than 15 pads a day. Her family knew something wasn’t right. On top of that, she became increasingly dizzy with even the slightest movement. Fearing the worst, they rushed her to the nearest hospital.
After being transferred to a larger facility, doctors conducted a bone marrow test. Based on her symptoms, they suspected leukemia and soon after, their fears were confirmed.
Despite the heartbreaking news, Ysabella’s spirit never wavered. When told the diagnosis, she was the one who asked her family to pray. Her faith has been a pillar of strength, not just for her, but for everyone around her.
The weeks that followed were incredibly tough. Her body endured intense treatments and tests. But she kept fighting. Recently, her doctors shared a hopeful update: her body is starting to return to normal. However, a second bone marrow test is still needed to confirm if leukemia cells remain.
Ysabella is now an outpatient. But before she can continue treatment, her family must settle over a million pesos in bills. It’s a heavy burden, and that’s why your help means the world.
Every donation, no matter how small, helps Ysa and her family take another step toward healing, hope, and a leukemia-free future. Let’s keep her strong. Let’s carry her through this together.
She’s my brother’s fiancé’s sister, and she’s like a family to us.
29/11 The funds will be used for the remaining balances in the hospital & her burial
Funds will cover ₱1M+ hospital bills, a second bone marrow test, meds, lab work, transport, and supplies for Ysabella’s continued leukemia treatment and recovery. Every dollar brings her closer to healing.
Farewell to our Courageous Ysa 29 November 2025
Hi everyone,
It is with the heaviest hearts that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our beloved Ysabella Shery Berou Villanueva.
After her last chemotherapy session, everything happened very quickly. Despite her incredible strength and the hope we continued to hold onto, God called her home sooner than any of us expected. Though her time with us feels far too short, Ysa’s life overflowed with love, warmth, courage, and a quiet strength that touched everyone who knew her.
To everyone who prayed, helped, donated, supported her through merch, and extended financial help , we thank you from the depths of our hearts. Your kindness carried us through days we never thought we could face. You gave Ysa and our family strength, comfort, and hope in the midst of unimaginable pain.
Thank you for standing with the Villanueva family, for every prayer whispered, every act of generosity, every share, every message of encouragement, and every moment you chose to show up for Ysa. Your compassion has been a blessing, and we pray that God returns that kindness to you a hundredfold.
If you wish to continue supporting the family, your kindness will help lighten the burdens we are still carrying, and we are deeply grateful for any help offered.
