Help This Young Family Rebuild After Their Rental Home Was Found Contaminated

Georgia, her husband Dylan and their three young children recently received heartbreaking news - the rental home they had been living in for nearly two years tested positive for high levels of Methamphetamine contamination. They had to face the devastating reality that the home was not safe for their children or themselves. As a result, the family vacated immediately. They also have had to part with the majority of their belongings. Due to the extent of the contamination, they are unable to keep any soft furnishings such as beds, couches, clothing, linen, or children's toys. They've also chosen not to retain any porous items, and even items that can be professionally cleaned, post too much uncertainty - as there is no way to be completely sure the contaminations is truly gone. For the safety of their children, they are being extremely cautious. Most heartbreaking has been saying goodbye to deeply sentimental belongings - baby blankets, first teddies, and keepsakes that carry memories from their children's earliest years. Georgia and Dylan are doing everything they can to seek accountability, but in the meantime, they urgently need support to begin rebuilding a safe and healthy home for their whānau.
