Family of 4 without a home

Affected by Auckland flooding on Friday 27th January. John, Rina, their 2 boys and cat are now without a home along with so many others across Auckland.

They currently have temporary accommodation with anything they were able to salvage in boxes, they’ve had to hire a large skip bin to dump all their house hold belongings which you can imagine is so heart breaking and they still have the garage to do. They do not have insurance, I wanted to set up a givealittle to help them with the financial strain of having to start all over again.

Anyone who knows John and Rina know they don’t like to accept help especially financially but sometimes you just have to accept it in times like these as they have lost their home and the children are very unsettled. Taking the time off work to sort everything out, needing to find a new home, purchase new belongings, cost of living rising, the list continues.
