My mission, since I was little, is to create a safe place for those in need, somewhere animals can feel protected and loved.

Thank you for reading about the sanctuaries fundraiser, your support means so much.

For those who don't know, we are home to over 150 bovines who have been rescued from slaughter, arriving at the sanctuary within their first weeks of life to those in their older, wiser years. My mission, since I was little, is to create a safe place for those in need, somewhere animals can feel safe and loved.

At the age of 19, I have learnt a lot in my few short years of running a non profit, it has taught me so much, and how life is so easily taken for granted. The animals have taught me many things, like how life is very precious, as all of them have been faced with losing theirs, born simply so their life can be taken for human gain. To watch them unfold and discover their personalities, is a huge part of what I do. They bathe in the sun, devour the grass and lap up each others company, and that's exactly how it should be. Enjoying the beauty of life itself and it's amazing offer of freedom that we so often forget about. We have a lot to learn from animals.

I have some big plans for next year, setting up as a non profit, educating more people about the animals and their stories, becoming officially open to the public, and many more exciting things!

Rescuing, rehabilitating and caring for these beautiful bovines, is a big task, making sure everyone has what they need to live happily and comfortably. This comes with large expenses, so for Christmas this year, I am asking you if you'd like to give a "present" to the cows, as little as $1 really does go far, because when everyone does, we can move mountains. Your "present" to the mooies, will enable us to cover the expenses that have arisen, keeping the animals here at the rescue fed, healthy and able to live their life to the fullest. Your help is appreciated more than you know, as a non profit we simply cannot run without it. Help us reach our goal, to help the animals!

As the the year of 2019 comes to an end, I want to say a HUGE thank you to every single person who has joined me on this journey. Whether it be donating, volunteering, fundraising, sharing posts, or leaving kind comments, it all really does make a massive impact. Without you, these animals wouldn't be here today.

Merry Christmas everyone, and here is to a new year! Love and hugs - The mooies

Thank you for the amazing support!   27 January 2020

Hi everyone,

I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has shared, donated and supported the sanctuary and the fundraiser that is running. It all has made an amazing impact, and we are almost half way to our goal.

The photo is of Mole, one of our rescue babies. She was born bald, so spent her first few weeks of life inside. She is now coming up 18 months old. So amazing !!

Thank you for the amazing ongoing support to help animals in need like Mole.
