Chilli was found in a carpark in West Auckland with severe cat flu and ringworm.

She was brought to Animal Referral Centre in Auckland by a kind person who found her and was taken in by Feathers and Fours Rescue. She had a consultation with the eye specialist, Dr Peter Collinson as one of her eyes was severely affected. Unfortunately there was nothing more that could be done to save her eye and it required enucleation (removal of the eye).

Her larger than life personality shone through and she went from strength to strength after the operation. Her constant purring and cheerful personality turned her foster home into her forever home quickly and it’s safe to say her singular eye has never held her back! Chilli lives with her kitty sister, Pepper. These two most certainly keep their mum on her toes and are mischievous fur children, but how can you be mad at that face.

Abi (initially named Frida) came into the clinic after being hit by a car. The only injury she sustained was to her left eye that required removal. Unfortunately her owners had just gone through some hardship of their own and elected to surrender her to us. She has had her eye removed and is living her best life.

It would be greatly appreciated to donate to cover her $800 bill

She is also looking for her forever home
