Fight for our Freddy

  • 🐶❤️ Freddy Update ❤️🐶 - Tuesday 6th October

    Hi everyone,

    We wanted to share a little update on our brave boy, Freddy.

    Freddy is still in the care of the vets and continues to be closely monitored. The good news is that his temperature has remained stable, which is really encouraging ❤️

    The drain that was placed after his surgery is working really well, and the vets are hopeful it may be able to be removed soon. While he's still not eating or drinking very much, we're hoping that will start to improve over the next few days as he continues to recover.

    We're also very pleased to share that my mum in law is recovering well too, which is a huge relief for our family ❤️

    Freddy still has a little way to go, but we're hopeful he may be able to come home soon. We can't wait to have him back where he belongs.

    A massive thank you to everyone for your ongoing support, positive thoughts, kind messages, and generous donations. We would also like to especially thank everyone who has visited the local vet clinic and contributed directly to Freddy's account. Your kindness and generosity have meant more than we can put into words.

    Thank you for continuing to keep Freddy in your thoughts. We know he's feeling all the love and support behind him as he fights his way back to good health. ❤️🐾

  • 🐶❤️ Freddy Update ❤️🐶 - Monday 5th October

    Hi everyone,

    Firstly, thank you all so much for your support, kind messages, and generous donations for our Freddy. We are truly overwhelmed by the love and support you've shown us ❤️

    We're relieved to share that Freddy's surgery went well. The vets have confirmed that, thankfully, the bites from the larger dog did not puncture his bowel. Unfortunately, his stomach was punctured, but the surgery was successful, and we're so grateful for the amazing care he has received.

    Freddy has now been transferred back to his local vet, where he's resting and recovering with a temporary drain in place. We're keeping everything crossed that he avoids any infection and starts eating and drinking very soon 🥺🤞

    He's been through so much, but he's a tough little boy, and we're hopeful he'll be able to come home soon.

    I've also uploaded some additional photos from his transfer between vets, along with some pictures showing the bruising he's suffered.

    Thank you again for all your kindness, support, and generosity. It has made an incredibly difficult time a little easier, and it means the world to us and our brave little Freddy ❤️🐾🥺

    Keep sending all those healing thoughts our way. Freddy certainly feels the love. ❤️🐶🐾
