FIGHTING FOR EVIE

Evie was left to die on the side of the road with both back legs badly injured. She was covered in hundreds of ticks including clusters deep in her ears. Weighing only just over half what she should, she was starving, quivering and extremely dehydrated. She'd had all her babies taken away from her.

Little Evie had never known a moments kindness in her short life. We thought we might be too late for her when we arrived on site but this sweet soul has fought her way back from the brink of death. Now she needs surgery and a brace so that she can live life pain free. I'm picking up every extra work shift I can, but she needs your help to make this happen.

The custom orthotic brace Evie needs is 2500 and the surgery will be anywhere from 2-4 thousand. Its a lot. But how can I put a price on her life, and her right to live a life where she can know kindness, safety, love and to be able to walk without pain.

If it was a matter of quality of life, euthanasia would be our only option. But the vets have said she has a real chance for a good life if we can get the support she needs.

I simply cannot bear the thought of putting her to sleep simply due to lack of funds. I cant bear the thought of giving up on her when she has a real chance. Evie deserves so much more from this world and together, I really believe we can make this happen.
