So I can at least stop worrying about the lump...apparently its a normal lump?...and nothing I should be worried about.
Im still trying to raise the money needed so that I can go overseas and get the treatment needed...hopefully it will all come together soon
Well things had started to seem better, my pain was under control for a while there....but it is slowly returning. And it now seems I have a new lump to contend with...getting an ultrasound and mammogram on Monday to check it out. Fingers crossed its nothing...really don't want it to be anything...
So Im back to normal...well what normal is for me. I am waiting to see the Oncologist which is due to happen in June. So far so good the radiation treatment has lessened the pain in my neck, which is good.
Now its just a matter of waiting until I can raise the money to get the treatment done...
So I am now able to each most solid foods...still can handle toast or chips...the throat is not painful anymore and the pain in my neck has subsided quite a bit...so it seems I have been given more time....which means now its even more important to get this overseas treatment....to really knock this dam cancer on its head.
And once again I would just like to say thank you to all those kind people that have donated to my page.
So as said before my throat was a bit sore but now it is really sore, I have partially lost my voice and cannot swallow any normal foods....all food has to be liquid and even that it getting difficult to swallow...Im not sleeping that well as the pain in my neck and throat have gotten worse....but I am hoping that now that its hit its peak it will start to heal and the pain will lessen...otherwise its off to hospital. Fingers crossed it starts to heal on its own.
So on Wednesday I finished my radiation treatment, Im so glad its over. My throat has been pretty sore and my neck was swollen for a few days I looked like the Michellan man...but the swelling has gone down. It is still a bit difficult to eat some foods so am keeping to a soft food diet at the moment. I am due to see my Oncologist on or about the 5th of May to see how the radiation treatment has gone.
I just wanted to say thank you so much to all that have donated money to help me. I burst out crying every time a donation came through. It has given me an my family hope. My family are stunned at the generosity of so many people. I am due to start radaton treatment this week...so here's hoping it goes well.
