We are a non-profit student initiative, aiming to address community needs and promote healthy life in rural Fiji Villages.

Living in New Zealand, we are so lucky and privileged to have easy access to things such as clean water, and good health care. For those in rural Fiji villages, some of the commodities we may take for granted are not as readily available. For example, 47% of the rural population do not have access to clean drinking water, which is why I am honoured to be a part of a project to help with that.
The Fiji Village Project is a group of medical and nursing students from New Zealand, Australia, and Fiji. We will travel to Fiji for 2 weeks in January, visiting rural Fiji villages. There, we will aim to:
- install rainwater harvesting tanks to provide clean drinking water
- provide basic health screening and clinic referrals
- promote health education, and raise awareness of common and important health conditions.
All donations will go towards water tank equipment, and medical supplies. The rest, including flights and accommodation, is self-funded.
This project would not be possible without your generous donations, and every little bit is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your support!

I'm a third year medical student and the University of Auckland. This year, I have been given the honour of being able to travel to Fiji next year as part of the Fiji Village Project team. We will be visiting rural villages to install rainwater tanks, perform basic health screenings, and provide education on health topics relevant to their community.
