Financial support for my four years university study due to losing my dad in September

It's been about 9 months since I started living in my favorite country. Currently, I have been staying in Christchurch on a working holiday visa since March, and my future plans were to study Social Work with Honors at the University of Canterbury from February or July 2024. I graduated from university in Japan, but because the working environment was not very good, and because I wanted to get a job where I could fully utilize my strengths in this country, which I had loved since I was a child, and bring more smiles to everyone's face.

However, three months ago in September, a cruel truth befell my family. My father, who worked hard to provide for our family despite his illness, passed away due to cancer. Although I was prepared to some degree as his cancer progressed, it was one of the most shocking and difficult events in my family's life. Honestly, I can't express this feeling in words.

As you all know, tuition fees for international students are quite expensive in NZ. Honestly, it's way beyond our budget for my family, which doesn't have a working father. However, by obtaining this degree and working as a social worker or related job after graduation, I hope to be able to help people in this country who are in difficult mental situations due to various backgrounds and those who are not mentally prepared. I will contribute to their well-being, and I will definitely return the favor.
