    First of all we would like to thank each and everyone of you for supporting our family. It means the absolute world to us.

    Finlee is progressing really well. We thought we were coming home a few times, but each time Finlee has had a wee set back, which has been mentally tough. She is stable, her meds are doing their jobs and she’s growing like a weed.

    The drs are aiming to get us home by Christmas but we know that’s not guaranteed.

  • Finlee update!

    Just wanted to thank everyone for their ongoing love, support and donations towards Kayla, Michael, Arlo and Finlee.

    Two and a half weeks have flown by.

    In that time Finlee has been put on 10 oral medications to supplement vitamins, hormones and antibodies that she is losing through her kidneys. She is undergoing 5 hour albumin infusions twice a week through a central line that has been surgically inserted and will be with her for the foreseeable future.

    Although she has been through a lot she is responding so well to her treatments even the drs are amazed.

    Kayla and Michael are hoping to be back in Dunedin hospital next week, and home soon after that.

    She will continue her albumin infusions twice a week in Dunedin.
