    To all of you kind people, a heart felt and grateful thank you. I am beginning to feel less stressed, and even to see a ray of light. I spoke with someone yesterday about a potential space....but it is not certain. However, I would not even have been able to do that without your help. Many Whanganui people have asked me when I will be setting up, so I hope I can soon say soon!! Setting up twice in 1 year.... what a mission.

    I'm not sure what's happening with the perpetrators, but they have affected so many people with this tragedy.

    Demolition has begun, and my smashed in dispensary door stands wide open, looking sad and forlorn. I hope to have a new door soon to welcome you through.

    I'll be closing this give-a-little down in about a week, so once again thank you.

    Many, many thanks to you all! It means so much to me to feel the support.

    Here is the article that was run yesterday, after the Chronicle approached me. i wasn't sure at first, but then I wanted to get across a message of not letting the story of loss to 'solidify' and run my life.

    Dear friends, 1st Than You all so much for helping me.

    Don and I went in for 1 hour on Thursday to see what e could get out. It wasn’t much, as you can imagine. Civil Defence said they were dreading going into my bit as it had the most damage. All I can say is thank god for fresh air and sunshine. The smell of wet ash is stuck in my nostrils.

    The building will be demolished in the next few days.

    I am gradually recuperating, and I’m able to taste my food again!

  • Last Dance

    Either tomorrow or Thursday I will have a very brief opportunity to go into my dispensary and salvage what I can (under the supervision of fire brigade). After that it looks like demolition! ! No resurrection.

  • Goal Change

    Dear friends, I've changed the goal as I realise I have a lot more damage and more outstanding payments than I at first thought, including a new $500 bill for the eftpos terminal!!! Sadly no leniency there.
