Fire has destroyed everything..
A fundraising effort to help the Ahmed family recover from a devastating fire.
Bay Of Plenty, Rotorua District
Just before 5pm on Thursday 15th June a fire began in the bedroom of the Ahmed family home.
By the time the fire was discovered it was well involved in the bedroom. They had seconds to escape before the entire house was in flames.
Thankfully the family all escaped without any lasting injuries but very shaken. They have lost everything except for the clothes they were wearing. Unfortunately the family do not have insurance of any kind.
If you could spare anything to help, it would b very much appreciated by the family.

I am a colleague of Jawad. During a holiday together the Ahmed family shared stories of life in Pakistan, their culture, and in return we shared good ol' kiwi fun on the farm, collecting pipi's in the harbour, riding bikes, and spending time on the farm

Clothing, household furnishing, everything you need to operate a house - they have lost everything.
