Help me with my challange by helping me support this amazing charity
Southland
Michelle has taken the first step in her goal and registered for her very first half marathon on the 20th April. Michelle says that she is not what you would call a runner. But this is something she wants to challenge herself to do. So 3 - 4 mornings a week she gets up at 5:30am to train and this is not something she finds easy, so to inspire her she is running to raise money for an incredible cause set up by this very special man and his family. The Blair Vining Sports Foundation which has been established in an effort to retain and support local junior sporting talent to Central Southland College.
Blair was recently diagnosed with stage four bowel cancer, which has spread to his liver and lungs.
The terminal illness has prompted a move to get the foundation set up.
Blair’s idea to start the Blair Vining Sports Foundation came after he witnessed first-hand talented juniors bypass the Winton-based college in favour of other high schools to give themselves a better chance to excel in their chosen sports
The foundation will fund projects over and above what was currently allocated towards sport inside the college budget.
So please help Michelle to support the Blair Vining foundation by sponsoring her to complete this challenge.
It doesn’t matter how small anything helps the college and to support Blair and the Vining family.
