Mosgiel, Otago

Otago Aero Club was the first aero club In New Zealand to be formed. Founded in 1927, Otago Aero Club has formed the OAC100 Charitable Trust to support our two centennial projects. These projects are the establishment of an ongoing flying scholarships for underprivileged young adults, and for the restoration to flight of an historic Cessna C150, the Lady of the Lake, in which our scholarship recipients will undertake their flight training.

Use of funds

Funds raised will fund an ongoing flying scholarship programme and the restoration to flight of an historic Cessna C150 training aircraft for the scholarship recipients to train in.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
