Mosgiel, Otago
Otago Aero Club was the first aero club In New Zealand to be formed. Founded in 1927, Otago Aero Club has formed the OAC100 Charitable Trust to support our two centennial projects. These projects are the establishment of an ongoing flying scholarships for underprivileged young adults, and for the restoration to flight of an historic Cessna C150, the Lady of the Lake, in which our scholarship recipients will undertake their flight training.
Otago Aero Club has established the OAC100 Charitable Trust to fundraise and manage funds for the centennial projects. OAC is incorporated as a charitable trust board.
Funds raised will fund an ongoing flying scholarship programme and the restoration to flight of an historic Cessna C150 training aircraft for the scholarship recipients to train in.
