The first Maori and wheelchair bodybuilder from NZ to compete at the Super Bowl of bodybuilding - Mr Olympia. Representing New Zealand.
Hamilton, Waikato
After winning the Texas pro and defeating the current Mr Olympia at that same show, I have qualified to compete at this years Mr Olympia - the biggest bodybuilding stage on the planet. I wasn’t expecting to win Texas and qualify, so I am raising funds to come back to Las Vegas to compete. If I raise the funds and step on stage I’ll be the first Maori to do so as well as the first wheelchair bodybuilder from Aotearoa to do it as well. Since my accident 9 years ago I have worked to qualify for this opportunity and to finally do so and represent my country on the most prestigious bodybuilding stage will be a huge honour. Every decision I make every single day is focused on getting to the Olympia. I have sacrificed a lot and I ask for help in representing New Zealand.
All funds raised will go towards flights, accommodation, food, supplementation, travel expenses whilst in Las Vegas, athlete registration, tanning, training and everything that is needed to prepare and compete at the Mr Olympia
