Help me to help people to get out and enjoy life, to teach them to fish and live again. This is open to everyone.

Hi everyone,
My name is Jamie Crafts Roelink and I'm currently running a group called fishing buddies. This group is to encourage people with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression and anything else to get out and socialize. I teach people to fish and everyone has a great time. This is also for anyone else as well whether they're a pro fisher or they've never been fishing before. I supply all gear, rods, reels, tackle and bait.
We've just had our first event and all of my 7 rods were used. We had a turn out of 30-40 people including experienced fishermen and women and people that had never caught a fish before. It was a fantastic day and most people hooked up. Everyone bonded immediately and the atmosphere was incredible and great to be a part of. I will end up needing more rods and possibly gear as our numbers grow. We currently have over 550 members in 13 days. There is a lot of interest and what a great way to get in touch with nature and socialize again. Let's get people hooked on fishing rather than screens.
I'm not asking for much just what you can help with will be fantastic. I'd really like to be able to donate rods to kids with a bit of tackle if we have enough support.
Feel free to check the group out on Facebook fishing buddies (Christchurch area) to see what it's all about. It's great to see friendships blossoming and these events will be every two weeks with extra trips during the week for those who can't make it on weekends as well as night fishing.
Thanks for your support. Fishing definitely benefits everyone as it's very relaxing and soothes the mind.
