Hi Chris,

I'd be happy to pay 100 fivers to Givealittle for a chat about his project and others over a coffee.

Hi Chris,

can you tell me more about this fund raiser?

Hey Alan

Thanks for the enquiry.

I first started Fiverr in the hope that we would be able to support the Monday night Milo group.

A night that supported the homeless with a meal at the bus shelter in Tauranga on Monday’s.

Due to Covid, they stopped meeting and I lost a bit of hope, in who I could donate it to, and in the meantime stopped promoting Fiver, with only $575.00 donated from generous friends.

However a couple of weeks ago we took 25 teenagers down the Taupo river and had an amazing day.

Will and Maree Wilson (friends of mine) who organised it, have donated a lot of their time to looking after these kids, from all sorts of different backgrounds on a weekly basis.

I was asked to help them out with transport to Taupo and got to know a few of them, as I also was the camera guy.

A couple a days later, it was placed on my heart to donate the Fiverr donations to Will and Maree, as they are struggling financially, however their love and input for these teenagers is outstanding.

There are so many organisations out there to give to, however, I like to see it working in underprivileged teenagers that can not really afford to pay even petrol costs or buy food.

My wish is that we can help this small group of youth better and grow themselves in a way that reflects a better life for them.

Every Fiver helps and I look forward to your reply Alan.

Blessings
