A quick update on our progress after the devastating floods that have caused so much loss, stress and sadness, and left us wondering how to carry on from here.

Well, one step at a time and bit by bit we are making it through with the help and support of many, including yourselves, that have been so incredibly generous by offering your hard earned cash, we appreciate it more than you can ever imagine,

    thankyou, thankyou, thankyou 🙏

we have also had kind souls donating their time and energy, pulling out debris from fences, carrying heavy furniture to save and dump, sorting belongings into salvagable or not piles, taking things home to waterblast/wash and dry as we have next to no water.

Loads of dry firewood as ours was all washed away. Shoveling and wheelbarrowing heavy slushy mud and silt from inside the house and shed, and the pathways outside, so much mud!

time on diggers, clearing our driveway and emptying creeks full of granite and silt.

Taking loads of flood damaged belongings to the tip, donating fencing supplies, food, baking, hot meals, water, pet food.

Clearing heavy mud soaked rubbish, debris, logs, fences, gates, hay bales, pink bats and crumbling gib board away from house and garden and putting in piles.

The list seems to go on and on and I'm sure I have missed alot! But with all the kind help from folks near and far we are slowly making progress ☺️

HEART FELT THANKS TO YOU 🩷🙏

  • Hit by a 2nd flood in 2 weeks

      14 July 2025

This 2nd flood brought less water but way more mud into Rachel's house, filling the wall framing where they had already taken the sodden linning off after the last flood to dry the framing.

The temporary water tanks, pump and filters so they could at least wash their hands and dishes.....gone also.

Thanks to everyone for the donations so far
