Life Changes in a Flash

My name is Leanne, I have lived in West Auckland for 46 years. Due to health issues, I have been unemployed since the end of 2020. Since this time, I have been witness to TWO MAJOR FLOODS! The first one during the night of Sunday 30th August 2021 and the second during the afternoon of Friday 27 January 2023. This has become a nightmare! First time my home was White Stickered by council and this time Yellow Stickered. From both floods my cars have been written off. Along with personal possessions. I have been told I am very "Brave". Inside I am breaking down and stressing out. I wouldn't normally ask for help, BUT it has come to a time where I need help to raise funds to be able to purchase a reliable car to be able to obtain permanent employment and live my life to the fullest. Please note l had full car insurance on my car under my name - the car was paid off with part of the insurance money, which left me with only $4,000 to go towards another car. This page was set up to help pay towards another car and to help me through the flooding process which we are still going through. Claims for house and contents are as per my Mothers insurance. Any funds raised will make a huge difference to me. Less stress to getting my life back to some sort of normality. The added stress of wondering how am I going to pay for yet another car and storage for my possessions.
