It's been three months since i have created this page as my way to help my family and friends to recover from the calamity that destroyed lives and livelihood.
First of all, please accept my apologies for not getting back on time to update everyone here that have supported the fundraising.
Last 27th January 2022, my father sustained a traumatic injury from a fall from fixing his water tank at home destroyed by typhoon odette. I had to leave New Zealand, immediately flew to the Philippines to help look after my dad for about 2 months. Dad died last 6th April 2022. I was heart broken and up until now I have not moved on. It is even hard to compose this message because it brings back memories so raw but I have to do this.
The true inspiration for me to start this fundraising was Dad. Dad has thought me kindness, love and gift of sharing. I would like to show my gratitude to everyone who have participated to this fundraising. We have gathered NZ $550 in total of funds.
My mom and I had distributed the donations coming from you. We manage to get 50 kilos of rice and 20 sacks of laundry powder for 30 families. The joy in there hearts was priceless.
I would like to show gratitude to everyone for helping me build this fundraising campaign. A massive thank you in behalf of myself and the families benefited from the love, kindness and generosity of each and everyone. I am forever grateful.
