Junior has terminal liver cancer with months to live. Help us ensure his family is cared for and give him peace of mind.

It was a couple of weeks before what should have been the most exciting time of the year for the Karo kids—Christmas. Instead, Junior Karo and his young family were grappling with the heartbreaking news that this may be Junior's last Christmas with his children.
After a few days in the hospital, Junior received the devastating diagnosis, he had stage 4 liver cancer, which had already spread to his stomach, leaving him with only months to live.
The shockwaves of this news have been felt far and wide, with his beautiful children—Sasha, Leila, Kayleigh, Piripi, Summer, and the youngest, Mila—bearing the weight of the impending loss of their papa, their rock, and protector.
Mione, his partner, is now facing a future she never imagined: raising her and Junior's children alone while striving to provide them with the financial stability they need to thrive when their dad is no longer there to support them.
Junior loves his family more than life itself. He's a strong and proud Dad, who would not ask for the help himself, but now is the time he needs it the most. Knowing that his family will be financially secure after his passing will allow him to focus his remaining time on creating cherished memories with them.
We are so blessed to be able to reach out to such an amazing community of people and are so very grateful for the support for Junior and his beautiful family.

Junior's passing 10 March 2025
It is with a heavy heart that we share the heartbreaking news of Junior’s sudden passing.
He fought bravely to stay with his family for as long as possible, and after a brief time in hospice care, he peacefully passed away, surrounded by his children and his partner, Mione.
We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and support that Junior received during his time with us. He was so thankful for the kind words, donations, and the compassion shown by each and every one of you. Your generosity meant the world to him and his family.
Mione and the children are now navigating a world without him, and more than ever, they need our support. We kindly ask that you continue to share this page, engage with Mione’s posts, and, if you are able, contribute—whether large or small—to help ease the financial burden of raising the children as Mione finds her way forward.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
