Our wee little monster is doing well! We have left Auckland's hospital and are now back home in Methven since early March. Oskar loves being home and is a very happy boy, learning and discovering every day.

The weekly check ups in Christchurch hospital are showing that Oskar is developing well and staying strong. Seeing that the wee man is doing well, tatie Claire has now left NZ and returned back to France and is looking forward for the family to come visit!

Thank you all again for reading, we will keep updating this page as we go. Lots of love from us all, Oskar, Ariska and Josh.

    Hello everyone,

We would like to share some good news regarding Oskar’s developement. It’s been 2 weeks now that our wee little monster is out of hospital and staying with us in the Ronald Mc Donald house in Auckland. His last blood cell counts are good and doctors are happy with the evolution of his bone marrow transplant so far.

We will be staying in Auckland for the time being. We are getting a weekly update and follow up from the oncology specialists here at Starship hospital. Obviously all is to be taken with caution and follow ups are still very much needed.

For now we are enjoying the time outside, discovering the nearby beaches and parks, zoo and other animal farms. Oskar is loving it and so are we!

Thinking of you all very kind people, we'd like to share some pictures of our last adventures.

Love from us all, Oskar, Josh & Ariska, Claire.

Oskar and his family would like to thank you all for your donations and all the kind words. It has been truly overwhelming and is very much appreciated. Apologies for not giving an earlier update on Oskar's improvement but the latest big news happened just 4 days ago with Oskar receiving his bone marrow transplant! All went according to plan so far. The next 3 months will be crucial and we will be staying in Auckland Starship Hospital. We will do our best to send regular updates. Meanwhile we wish you happy holidays. Oskar, Ariska, Josh and Claire.
