    Kia ora everyone,

    Just wanted to share where things are at — the store design is coming together (still a few tweaks to go 🎨), a draft lease agreement is already in front of me, and our proposal for space in The Strand is now with their board for review.

    It’s still early days, but each step feels like a big milestone. I’m so grateful for everyone who’s backed this idea so far — your support is helping turn this from a dream into reality 🙏

  • ✨ August Update from Vendigo Store – Big Steps Ahead!

    Kia ora everyone! Here’s a quick update on the journey to launch Vendigo – Whangārei’s first 24/7 vending machine convenience store.

    🛠 Progress so far:

    I’ve connected with Northland Inc and now have a Business Growth Advisor guiding me through capability training and funding support.

    Business plans, profit estimates, and visual mockups of the store have been created.

    I’m actively approaching landlords and council to trial the concept in town.

    📍 Next Steps:

    I’m preparing for meetings with council planning to discuss zoning and carparks at a potential location – 83 Bank Street.

    A short 3-month lease is the goal to prove the store model works.

    Plans to livestream from the store on TikTok are in the works to grow the brand and generate income.
