Help Jair and Lauretta and their family navigate the unknown.

Christchurch, Canterbury

Jair, a loving husband and father, suffered a stroke last Sunday night. He has lost all his balance and cannot walk at this stage. He is currently bed-ridden in the rehab ward in Christchurch hospital. He works as a mechanic but will not be able to return to this physical work for quite some time while he recovers.

As the sole income earner, his stroke has placed enormous emotional and financial pressure on the family. Lauretta and their 4 precious kids are supporting him and would love to have him home soon. While they focus on his recovery, the costs of living continue in the background. From groceries to power bills etc.

If you know Jair, you know how self-less and helpful he is to all around him. Jair and Lauretta are the kindest people you will meet. They care deeply about the welfare of others, physically and spiritually. This is our opportunity to give to them in their time of need.

I am setting up this page to ease the financial burden so the family can focus on his recovery and being together through this difficult time.
