Helping 16-year-old NZ BMX champ Danika get to the 2025 BMX World Championships in Copenhagen.
Nationwide
Hi, I’m Danika.
I started riding BMX when I was six years old and have never looked back. Over the past 5 years, I’ve really got involved with the sport and poured my heart into it. This sport has taken me throughout NZ—from Whangārei to Invercargill, Hawke’s Bay to New Plymouth.
I’m currently NZ1, Track Attack 1, Oceania 1 for 16 Girls, NI1 for 15–16 Girls, and National Series 1 for 15 Girls. It’s been a massive season, and now I’ve been given the chance to represent New Zealand at the 2025 UCI BMX World Championships in Copenhagen.
This opportunity means the world to me. Competing overseas has been a dream I never thought I’d have the chance to chase, and now that it’s here, I’m doing everything I can to make it happen.
Any support you can give—big or small—will help cover travel, gear, accommodation, and the huge cost of getting me and my bike to Denmark. If you’re able to back me, thank you for being part of my journey.
Looking forward to sending it!
Danika
