From Mr. World No. 3 to Pro Mr Universe— help me get to Mr. Universe and represent New Zealand on bodybuilding's most prestigious stage.
Dunedin, Otago
Hi, I’m Tony Wall — former 5x elite gymnastics champion, capoeira coach, and now NABBA Mr. World Physique No. 3 in bodybuilding. But the road here wasn’t straight.
After being diagnosed with a mental health condition, I lost everything — my body, my confidence, and my fire. I gained weight, smoked heavily, and was stuck in a toxic environment. I rarely talk about it… but I rebuilt.
I quit smoking. Dropped 20kg. Learned everything I could about mental resilience, training, and supplements. I opened a supplement store. Became an ISO-certified trainer, but I'm now with ISSA. And fought my way back to become a champion athlete again — and a coach creating champions. And became NZ's first medalist in a relaunch of the NABBA Int'l World Championships, in Australia.
Now, I’ve qualified to represent New Zealand at NABBA Pro Mr. Universe UK 2026. It’s a dream — and a mission.
But I need help funding the trip. I’m seeking to raise $40,000 NZD to cover travel, accommodation, coaching, and competition prep.
This isn’t just about trophies. It’s about showing what’s possible when you rebuild your mind and body — and carrying that message to the world. It's important for men to learn resilience and mental strength, and I hope my preps show the depths you can go to and still rise as a champion. I want to inspire men to take up lifting as a therapy tool so that they stop killing themselves due to not letting the pressure out in a safe way.
Thank you for supporting me.
Tony Wall B.A.

The funds will cover flights, accommodation, entry fees, and prep costs for the Mr. Universe and World Champs. If the full target isn’t met, all donations will still go toward getting me to the competition.
7 Weeks out from NABBA NZ Nationals 2025 9 August 2025
I'm self funding this with the help of a supporter the NABBA NZ National competition on the 27th of September, 2025. I'm 7 weeks out and on track to do some damage in the comp. Should be good. With every comp I improve, learn, and make better adjustments and it's all making a better package. With time anythings possible. Keep your dream alive. But do that through putting in the reps. You can't escape the work that need to be done. Any time the work was not done besides family emergencies, and work commitments it was really just excuses. It could have aways gotten done at some point in the day when you look back. during scrolling, tv, news, music, reading, journaling, meditation, praying, watching sports, theatre, or kindles. There's alway time for things you want to make time for. And in prep you make that commitment through injury, illness, death, family emergencies, work committments, health problems, other pressures. But if you want it you find a way. None of my preps have been smooth. But what you learn about yourself in the battle is priceless. And the beast you create in the battle can then can turn the pain to triumph. Then you are proud of the capable man who stares at you in the mirror. Personally that what i feel I got by getting Field tested in the hardest sport as a natural athlete then came out the other side as NABBA Mr. World #3 Men's Physique, Asia Pacific and Otago Athletic Champion.
Don't be scared to do tough things. It builds character.
Thank you, Kay!
Thanks guys!
