This year Dilworth is supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) in their House-to-House Appeal. The average distance a family travels to be at RMHC at Auckland Hospital with their child, is 210kms.

Due to the weather, we had to postpone our run on Founder’s Day, the new date is now lunchtime on Tuesday 26th March.

We will be running, aiming to match the 210km distance! Please sponsor our young men as they run in support of the House-to-House challenge ‘to help keep whānau close, when they need it most.’

About us

Dilworth School is funded by a charitable Trust, that provides 100% boarding and education scholarships to every student who attends the School. Our mission is to develop young men of good character, achieving personal excellence, who flourish in life.

Fun run update! 28 March 2024

We smashed our 210 km goal for RMHC by running/walking 570 laps as a school. Fantastic effort by our Senior Campus boys and staff that joined in!

Damian Howard completed 6 laps(6 kms) in 25 minutes and also ran the first lap the fastest. Donegal took it out in every way! They will get a treat for being awesome!

We raised $835.70 in school and so far have raised $893 on our Give-A Little page from 18 generous donors. There is still time to donate 😊

It has been great to see the heart and the mahi as we have actioned this to make a difference for families staying at RMHC. We have, so far, raised enough for a family to stay for five nights and be near their child when they need it most.
