Fund our Freezer
Whakaora Kai Food Rescue Northland need a large freezer to store and make it easy for over 50 community groups each week to pick up kai.

At Whakaora Kai we collect and distribute around 4000kg of food each week to over 50 local community groups and charities.
A jumbo upright freezer that fits large boxes of kai would make it easier for our staff, volunteers and the groups picking up each week so the kai is stored safely ready for collection.
It will save us time and make it safer for our volunteers.
All support is greatly appreciated and will go towards the freezer to be used in the Whangarei hub.
About us
Kai is precious and so is our planet. We are a food rescue charity in Northland that collects quality food that may otherwise be wasted and shares it with over 80 community organisations across Te Taitokerau.
Use of funds
A large commercial upright freezer that will fit 10 banana boxes of kai to make it safe and easy to store and for groups to collect kai.
