On the evening of Monday 19th October, a fire gutted the home of a Syrian family living in Mosgiel, Dunedin. This lovely family of seven are former refugees who are working hard to establish a new life in New Zealand. To make the situation even more difficult, this tragedy coincided with the death of a close family member in Syria. The family has no insurance and so this page has been set up to raise $5,000 to help them start again, and to show love and support from their new community.
