A page to get people cycling and to support disabled people getting involved in the community.
Hamilton, Waikato
Kia ora!
I'm Liam Carter, a 16-year-old with Cerebral Palsy, and I'm on a mission to make a difference. I'm the founder of 'Ride Your Trike NZ' a business that provides an opportunity for individuals who face mobility challenges to enjoy the thrill of riding trikes. In addition to this, I also lead a community initiative that supports people with different abilities to access cycling and run a school project in Hamilton. Our activities include organizing events, rides, and engaging in various fun and sporty community outreach programs.
I am also part of the Waikato Connect-Ability group which meets regularly and sets up regular events. We are trying to get a van so that more of our members are able to attend. Currently they are unable to come because of unsuitable buses, lack of safety or the lack of wheelchair friendly taxis.
As we continue to expand our small business and community group, we're in need of some essential resources. Specifically, we're seeking support to support us to grow Ride Your Trike NZ to become a bigger support for all needs
Your contribution will make a meaningful impact by helping cover the daily operational costs of our business and community programs. Your generosity will enable us to continue making a positive change in the lives of those we serve.
Thank you for considering our cause, and we sincerely appreciate any support you can provide.
Ngaa mihi nui (Many thanks),
Liam Carter
