Fundraising for Erin

    Hello everyone For those that don't know last Friday, the 16th of September, Erin's battle with terminal cancer ended. Erin's funeral will be held TODAY at 1pm at St Mary's Catholic Church, 117 Onewa Rd, Northcote, North Shore, Auckland.? There will be a service, followed by tea and coffee, then?to Northcote Tavern afterwards. Apologies for the late notice, we had to wait until some of Erin's?family were informed about Erin's passing before sending this update. Again thank you all the donations to the cause and perhaps I might see you at the funeral today.   • Party this Saturday!

    Hi again I have been asked to send a message inviting you to a party.? If people haven't been told Erin's prognosis has deteriorated and she has brought forward her party.? Here is the email I received about it: ""Good afternoon folks, here's notice to get your party costumes ready!! Venue: Glenfield Tavern (opposite Glenfield Mall) Glenfield Date/Time: This Saturday (20th) 5.30pm Private room/area. There will be nibbles provided and a bar tab.. & it's a tavern so bar available all night when the tab runs out. Don't forget no gifts at Erin's request however donations to the cancer society would be hugely appreciated. Also don't forget to bring all your lollies/sweets etc which will be gifted to children with cancer. Thanks Jo B for being a brilliant organiser! Erin is so looking forward to being with us all on Saturday.. Yay! Go hard out with your costumes ;-) Arohanui James Ps: contact me or Jo B if you would like to help with the decorating on Saturday before the party. Jo's back in Auckland tomorrow pm.

    Hi Everyone Again I just wanted to say thanks again to everyone for donating to this worthy cause.? I want to especially thank people that fundraised with their friends and/or workplaces and donated the money raised to the cause here.? I am blown away but the amount we have raised. As Erin continues with her fight I think now might be a good time to reflect and think about Erin and her family.? if you are religiously inclined, now might be a good time to put Erin and her family in your prayers if you felt like that is something that you want to do.     Hi again everyone We are approaching the five thousand dollar mark!? Keep the donations or sharing of the cause homepage coming! Make sure you check out Erin's blog, which she is really active on, to see her progress.??Make sure you check out the photos of Martin, her nieces and Uncles showing solidarity by shaving their heads.? Girls with pretty long hair shaving it all off.?? Just shows the love out there for Erin. Thank you for all the support so far.? Amazing. Michael

    We have passed the $3500 mark for the fundraising for Erin, which is an amazing, top effort.? I didn't have any idea when I started the page that there would be such a large sum raised. I know for a fact that Erin has been moved and touched by the generosity shown by those donating here and I know that she looks at the messages of support on the page.
