Fundraiser for a Community AED at the Hutt Recreation Ground - #KeepWellingtonBeating
Lower Hutt, Wellington
On Thursday the 17th March we lost one of our football whānau, tragically passing away whilst playing the game he loved. Kane’s death has hit very close to home for some of our members, who were good friends of his.
Kane Kiore was also a passionate football coach at the Upper Hutt Junior Club, as they note: “Kane saw the great potential in the kids he coached, giving his time generously to help them work to reach this potential. He was a staunch advocate for these kids, making every effort to get the best for them.”
Currently there is no Community AED at the Hutt Recreation Ground, a high use facility. We are going to change that! We're calling for donations to help buy a new AED - any amount helps. Please also help us by sharing this among your friends and whanau.
If we raise more than the AED costs ($4,400) the money will be put towards the installation of other public AEDs in our Hutt Community.
Thank you for your support
