Fundraising to support Nida, diagnosed with Cancer
This is a fundraising effort to help Nida Tabo, diagnosed with Cancer, to make ends meet until she's able to go back to work.

My friend Nida is diagnosed with cancer late last year. With the modest amount she's earning as a cleaner, she has already accounted for all her living expenses until she retires February 2023 - thinking she can carry on working/earning until then. But due to her situation now, she must undergo surgery (on 13 Jan), therefore she won't be able to work and earn a living for at least 3 months.
Linked to this “givealittle” account is Nida's own bank account. On her behalf, I am knocking on your generous hearts to help her as she has no other means of financial support while unable to work.
Nida is a migrant from the Philippines without any family of her own. She lost her teenage daughter about 15yrs ago. Nida is currently flatting with friends, whom she now considers as her family here in NZ.
Nida does all sorts of extra odd jobs like house cleaning, ironing, house sitting and babysitting to make ends meet and to support her relatives in the Philippines, aside from her main source of income being a full time cleaner in an apartment building at Wellington City.

Use of funds
The money will be spent for her basic needs such as food and rental fees, while she's unable to work.

On behalf of Nida, thank you so much for all you love, prayers and support.
We are in awe of your kindness and generosity.
As planned, Nida had her surgery on 13 January. She was discharged from hospital 4days later and is now recovering well at home.
I believe there are a few days left to complete her 25days-daily injections, then further check-ups will follow.
I will try to keep you posted of any further progress.
In the meantime, Thank you very much, although words cannot express our sincere gratitude for all your help.
