So we’re back from the NZ National Champs, we pushed ourselves really hard and have progressed so much since we first started rowing. Although we didn’t get any medals this time, we made it to the finals for both our quad and our four, and we also got 1st and 3rd in the doubles B-final which we are so proud of!

Thank you so much for everyone who has supported us, the costs of all our training camps and in attending this regatta are so high and it means the world to us to have your support and has provided us with such the opportunity to compete, we are so grateful and would not have been able to without you, thank you!

What’s next? Well we are going to keep rowing and now we know how tough the competition is, we will try even harder for our next regatta at intermediate level.

    Ngā mihi,

    Nikita, Hannah, Jazz and Shay

Thank you so much to everyone who has supp-oar-ted our fundraiser! We have made it to Twizel for the NZ National champs and couldn’t have done it without you!

The competition here is high and challenging our rowing skills more than ever but we’ll be in the finals for our quad and our four!! As well as the B finals for our doubles, wish us luck and thank you again.

    Ngā mihi,

Jazz, Nikita, Hannah and Shay x

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated so far, last week we held our fundraising quiz night which was oar-some! We had some amazing donations of raffle prizes (not in conjunction with Givealittle) from local businesses, thank you to New World, Les Mills, Anytime Fitness, Synergy Fitness, Sanitarium, Zeenya, and Events Cinemas for your supp-oar-t!

We’re continuing to train hard ahead of next week’s National Championships, we spent Saturday on the Manawatū river and are back to our regul-oar training programme in Wellington this week.

We’re still fundraising so appreciate any doll-oars you can spare!

    Ngā mihi X

Kia ora koutou! Yesterday was the Wellington Provincial Championships, we had an amazing day, we raced in three events: an eight combined with Onslow college, a four, and a quad, and we came first in all of them!! Triple gold!!

Again we have shaved off more time from our 2K in the quad and the four, and now it’ll be two weeks of hard mahi before the National champs. We’ve been out already this morning training hard in the harbour.

Thanks for all your support so far, our fundraising quiz is tomorrow 3rd Feb, so sign up if you can or help us out with a little donation, or even just give us a cheer if you see us out on the water in Welly!

    Ngā mihi,

    Jazz, Nikita, Hannah and Shay

Kia ora whanau, thank you so much for your support so far! We have just been in Karapario where we got second place in the heat of our coxed four boat. Sadly the finals were cancelled due to the weather but we were favourites to win the B finals and we shaved off a huge chunk of time compared to our last race! Next we have the Wellington champs on 1st February before the big event of National Championships! We still need some help to get the money to get there so any donations are so appreciated, even if just a few bucks. We will keep putting in the hard mahi to try bring back more medals! Thanks again, ngā mihi, Jazz, Hannah, Nikita, and Shay
