Raising funds to help Jeni, Oliver, Rose and Stuart with their cancer journey.
Te Awanga, Hawke's Bay
Jeni was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast cancer in March 2023. The next 12 months were a wave of emotions and an overload of information providing both hope and despair.
Progress was good, very good at times. And then, this stopped.
Mid 2024 showed signs of new growth in some bone areas, and liver.
Stage 4 Cancer!
After intense hormone therapy and drugs, April 2025 results have knocked us back. Increased growth in liver and new growth in the lymph node under her arm.
Jeni’s desire for a solution without harmful drugs remains strong however is now heavily controlled as a blend of modern drugs with holistic healing and supporting therapies.
Our life and disability cover was declined due to family history, and our medical insurance whilst strong lacks flexibility to utilise therapies widely available in NZ and overseas.
Financially we have been on our own in most of the treatments we use and want to continue to use. We’ve sold almost all we can, and yet it’s not enough.
Our focus is to push on with life and living. We want the chance of being together in years to come and worry where Ollie and Rose are at night like most families do. And most of all, we want a normal day where our conversations are not about what treatment we can afford.
Now is the time to ask for help. We have hope, and enough encouraging words to support our integrative path.
We don't know if this will work but we do know our lives will be better for trying and thank you for any assistance you can provide.
Your help will assist integrative approach to our cancer solution

We pivot with hope solid in our minds 9 October 2025
Six weeks of recovery see us now continuing to build strength and set our selves up for more recovery ideas.
It's fair to say the last six weeks have been our toughest.
Blessed with Debbie's (Jeni's Mum) support we've cried, laughed and struggled our way forward to shake off the effects of a pretty awful lung infection, crippling pains and serious concern of 'what the heck"?
Mexico and the options available at the clinic there seem quite a way away. Today the idea of a car ride to the hospital for tests seems out of reach let alone half way around the world (well almost).
Thanks to our support on this page and the wonderful support of some pretty special friends, we have purchased a frequency machine (RIFE machine) in an attempt to support the drugs we are presently taking. As always the method may not seem mainstream for many and yet we see it as an educated attempt to further try something to assist our cause.
Thank you to all who have supported us financially, and emotionally on our journey.
Stuart, Jeni, Oliver and Rose.
