Funds for Mendoza Family

My name is Ashley Mendoza and I authorize this to be posted online.

On the 8th and 15th of October 2022, my father Geronimo Mendoza had an occasion of 2 strokes and he was taken to Christchurch hospital and was transferred to Burwood. He was taken to the ICU and we were told that he wasn’t gonna make it. He was able to survive and was taken back to Burwood for his rehabilitation.

My mother Luzmine David Mendoza is now also in the ICU and taken on the 20th of February 2023. She has an ongoing dental problems which caused her to have three operations due to an infection that spread around her throat that could potentially block her airway. She’s still in a critical condition due to her diabetes and she’s currently on life support (tracheostomy) . We are struggling financially because we had no source of income since last year and my dad’s insurance declined his claim. We also have a mortgage to pay and I’m still currently studying.
