Seeking help to send Mereana Flavell off to rest! Much loved Mum, Nana, Sister, Aunty and Friend.

We have created this page to help raise funds to cover the funeral / tangi costs for our much-loved mother, Mereana Rose Flavell.

Mum had been bravely battling diabetes for many years. Sadly, she fought her final battle and is now at peace, reunited with our Dad, Terry Flavell.

Our mother was strong, beautiful, kind, caring, loving, and so much more to everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed by all of her whānau and her grandchildren.

We lost our father at a very young age due to a drunk driver crashing into them. Mum was badly injured in the accident, but with four boys to raise, she fought through the pain and heartache to make sure we still had a mother who took care of us and gave us everything she could.

As a family, we are proud and have always tried to stand on our own feet, preferring to help others rather than ask for help ourselves. But laying our mum to rest comes with financial pressure that is difficult to manage alone.

Any contribution, big or small, would ease the burden and allow us to focus on honouring Mum the way she deserves. If you are unable to give, sharing this page or keeping our whānau in your thoughts and prayers means just as much.
