My name is Honoka & I currently live and work in Wellington, New Zealand as a Barista. Thanks to the support of many people around me, I've won the NZ Barista Championship 2023 and will proudly represent New Zealand at the World Barista Championship in Busan, South Korea next May 2024.

This is a dream come true for me, the countless hours of training have all been worth it!

I love to share my passion about coffee whilst having fun with my customers. I am deeply honoured to have the opportunity to showcase my skills, my coffee story & compete on a global stage. My individual costs of accommodation, airfares and insurance are covered as part of my winning prize package.

However, competing on a world stage compared to day-to-day café life comes with significant expenses, including team support, equipment, green coffee & training costs. I need your help in getting my support team to Busan with me.
