Kia Ora Whanau & Friends,
Firstly I would like to post a very heartfelt thank you to all of the beautiful lovely people who have partaken in this fundraiser, either donating, resharing or spreading love online or word of mouth. Every mention of this fundraiser means a lot so thank you.
If you all could keep donating where you can you know how much it would mean, surgeries like this are so difficult to be able to facilitate ourselves and having you all help, get’s me that much closer to my goal. Even if it’s a small amount to give this week it means a whole deal. I personally believe that good things come back to people who’ve done good. I don’t say this as a way to entice you (though I do) but as a declaration that kindness and goodness will come back to you two fold.
Living as a trans person is getting scarier by the day. Somehow the world is going backwards and becoming a much less safe place for people like me. I hope for a world where worrying about our safety doesn’t have to come before worrying about our own gender dysphoria/journey. All we hope for is to live our lives freely and be able to give back and express that to our communities and the world.
