Ex Outward Bound helps out!
14 November 2014We took our table and chair down to New Brighton when the market was on and took our scratchy cards for people to donate and a guy came up and started talking about Outward Bound - guess what - he had been on Outward Bound. Was great talking to him about how he enjoyed it, how hard it was and what he got out of it. I know we will learn a lot about this awesome adventure.

Getting closer to going on Outward Bound. Nervous and excited at the same time. Nervous cause we have to be really fit to be able to do all the things and that's just me (mum), Hayley will be fine I know as most kids can run forever. Fundraising is so hard and we appreciate everyone that has donated to us so far. We have been doing some fundraising ourselves and still have a few things lined up to do. Please even if you can contribute $5 to this we would be so very grateful. Also if you could share as well - thank you so much. Raewyn & Hayley.

Just want to thank you all for the donations. We have been sponsored as well and a huge amount given to Hayley by Maurice Carter Trust of $1000. So now we are all paid up but just fundraising for 2 pairs of shoes each and our fare to and from Anikiwa. Thank you so much. So appreciated - Raewyn & Hayley.

Just want to say a huge thank you to those who donated to get Hayley to Outward Bound. We have been now and it was amazing and life changing - came home happier, healthier and ready to get on with life. Lots planned for us to do Pay it Forwards and if anyone wants someone to come and talk about it I would love to do it - Hayley still a little shy but has come out quite a lot from being on this. After suffering from depression myself after the earthquake I feel like a huge weight has been taken off me. As for Hayley - she has had some major changes in he life as well - she's so much more helpful (without asking), happier, and ready to get back outdoors again - helped so much - thanks to you all and to Outward Bound for this awesome adventure - we are BACK!!!!
