Getting floodlit tennis into the bishopdale area
Floodlit tennis is a great opportunity for Bishopdale, but we need help raising funding to get 6 fantastic LED lit courts

Bishopdale Tennis Club is very much a club on the rise with superb courts, well run senior and junior programs and lots of great coaching opportunities for its members and the community. However with daylight saving, the evenings become unusable for half the year and play is restricted to the weekends for most working people. We have a fantastic opportunity to put state of the art LED lighting on all 6 courts and have the permission to do so. However, the cost is about $130,000 which is beyond the means of the club so we need fundraising and financial support to make this happen.
With a growing membership to cater for and many members wanting to play tennis in the winter, the lights are required to keep these members from going elsewhere.
Use of funds
Purchase of the 14 state of the art lights and poles including the required ground and electrical work to get them operating. If we exceed the $130,000 required for funding this project the next project will be to insulate the clubhouse.
