Many know John as “Gramps.” This was because he was a grandfather figure to so many. He was kind and supportive even to those he barely knew. If ever you needed someone to talk to he would be there to lend his ear and give you that cheeky grin to cheer you up. He was our very own Angel..

But sadly we were unable to keep our angel as he has been taken from us far too soon and unexpectedly.

Our hearts are heavy and broken as we try to come to terms with Gramps’s sudden passing while he was enjoying a holiday staying with his daughter Penny and her family in Perth. Unfortunately his holiday has ended early and now he needs to come home to his final resting place.

He has his daughters Mania and Jill and their beautiful girls here to say goodbye to, as well as many more family and friends.

Here’s to having one more Lion Red with Gramps.
