Gio to compete in the Pokemon TCG Worlds 2026
Help Giovanni compete at the Pokemon Worlds championships this year in August, San Francisco.

Hi all, we are saving money for Giovanni to go participate in the Pokemon World Championships, 28th - 30th August 2026 in San Francisco USA.
He has achieved 9th place in Oceania, and 1st place in NZ for the Juniors category, qualifying him for an invite for the Pokemon trading card game World Championships.
We feel this is a once in a lifetime chance, and would like your help to make this possible for him.
He has the goal of paying his own ticket approx $2,000 NZD.

We're back! 8 September 2026
A huge thank you all of you who supported Giovanni and helped make it possible for him to travel to San Francisco and compete in the Pokemon TCG World Championship!
Giovanni finished 118th out of top 390 participants who came from around the world!! He was the only NZ competitor in the Junior division and he came 2nd out of all the kids from Oceania. He even won some booster packs for his placing.
This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience for him, and your support, encouragement, and generosity made it possible. We were able to be part of the 50,000+ people at the pokemon event, and were also able to ride the cable cars, go on the ferry, see the golden gate bridge and alcatraz and even ride in a waymo (autonomous vehicle)! We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed to this amazing journey.
