Give 4 year old Ukrainian boy Bogdan a new start
Bogdan lost his mother due to the cruelty of Russian troops, now we want to give him a new start.

4 year old Bogdan was robbed of the love of his mother and father at the hands of the Russian army by very vicious and callous means.
Bogdan's mother Alina Bosenko grew up next to me in a city in Ukraine called Sumy, a place hardly anyone in the West had heard of until this ugly war. I've been in NZ for 20 years, my parents still live next Bogdan's grandmother, this is heartbreaking close to us. Bogdan's grandparents currently care for him, they live on very little.
Alina was a nurse with an incredible dedication to helping others in their time of need. On the evening of March 5th Alina and Oleg (Bogdan's father) left Sumy to a neighbouring village for a medical emergency. The hug and kiss from mum, the hug from Dad would be the last they would ever give to their 4 year boy. After failing to arrive in the Village, relatives put out frantic messages across social media begging for sightings of the couple. Photos of their damaged car were circulated on the 8th of March, with the couple nowhere to be found.
Confirmed through many sources many women were abducted by Russians. March 25th Alina's body was found wired with explosives. She was beaten severely with a gunshot wound to the head. His father was never found. I owe it Alina and Oleg to do everything I can to help their only child.

I grew up with Alina, her family are our neighbours and we are very close to them in our tight community. Their suffering, we feel too.
Use of funds
Legal fees to allow his Grandparents legal guardianship. Funds will pay for his education, clothes, school uniforms, things that children about to start school need. We would like to have some money for Savings for when he gets older.
