Canterbury

Monday 16th September this year, Our father, Sisifo Mailata Laloata was rushed into hospital for emergency heart surgery.

Dad was in surgery for 12 hours, once operation was completed they closed his heart to find out more complications. The doctors then opened his heart again to continue with more operation.

A week after the second surgery Dad woke up and stayed up for 5 days and then his heart stopped due to fluids around his heart, they then immediately performed CPR which didn’t work so they then had to open his chest again and found his heart beat, only for it to stop again and having to drain out the fluid.

Following an amazing three weeks of fighting, with heavy hearts, we inform our dad peacefully passed away Tuesday 8th October leaving behind his Wife and 6 Children.

This was so unexpected for our family so we have put this page together for any help towards funeral & family expenses. Everything is appreciated.

We would like to take this time to say Thank you to everyone who donated to our ‘Give a little page’ to help with Dads funeral.

Our hearts are full with so much love from all of you guys. We pray that God will bless you all tenfold.

We may have lost one but gained a new family, we see every single one of you and your hard work will never go unnoticed.

Words can’t explain how grateful and thankful we are.

We miss our Dad so much but you all have helped us by showing us a glimpse of our Dads heart through your giving, so we thank you again.

Sending love from Australia. I can still see your dad's big smile when I first meet him on my last year of high school. He was so proud of my poly performance hahaha. The days my parents and us kids will be over at yours and we would hang all day or in the evening while they talk for aaaaages. He definitely left with confident knowing that mum is in good hands with you kids. Lots of hugs and kisses to you all especially that beautiful mum of yours❤️
