Karen asks
Hello Britta
Are you able to confirm if the children live on the Hibiscus Coast please. I appreciate it is early days as yet, however our family of six (inclusive of four young adults) would love to be able to assist in some small way with assisting the children. If they participate in weekend sport or an activity/interest which requires transport and time??
Regards Karen

Hi Britta,
We are so sorry to hear of Terry, Tessa and Tiara's loss - especially that now its 2 times over!!! No child should have to go through that type of heartbreak!!
How do we find out what is going to happen with the children once the school year ends? Will they be going to live with extended family or will they have to go into the Social Welfare system?
You are doing an amazing them stepping in and being their rock through this awful time - Take care and good luck, please keep us posted.
Kind regards
The Rangiawha Family (Dee, Chris, Ryder Aislynn & Harlan)

Hi Dee,
Thanks for your wonderful support during what is a turbulent time that no child should ever have to go through. In response to your question, I will be keeping this page updated as best I can to let everyone know the proceedings as time develops. We have meetings with children's social worker and Whanau, during which long term plans will be made for the children between us. The Children will not be going into the Social Welfare system. We are doing everything in our power to keep them together. Warmest Regards, Britta x

Hi Britta, I work with the NZ Herald. Meghan Lawrence passed on this page and wondered if I could ask permission to use the photo from this page in an article Meghan has written about Terry, Tessa and Tiara. The article shares their story and the fact NZ has gotten behind this young family to raise nearly $20K! If you wish to reach me, you can on: luke.kirkness@nzherald.co.nz
