Honouring Joshuah and sending him off with love
Auckland
As a family, we are deeply shocked and hurt that our beloved Joshuah is no longer with us. We are still finding it difficult to navigate through all the emotions and feelings around the nature of his passing and the events leading up to it.
First, we are very grateful and appreciate everyone who has respected our privacy and supported us. We, as a family, would like to thank our community near and far that has showered us with their love, condolences and prayers. It is far more than we could have ever imagined. We especially would love to thank those people who were with Josh in his final moments. No words could describe the magnitude of our appreciation for acting as quickly as you did without a second thought. It is comforting to know that he was not alone.
As we honour them life of Joshuah, we remember his smile, his laugh and his beautiful kind heart. Our dearly loved son and brother, you will forever be in our hearts.
Thank you friends, family and community for your kindness and generosity. You have brought comfort and light to us, we will forever remember and appreciate it.
Auliulifolau (Pesaleli) Tasi or Pesa for short is Josh's father and he will be receiving the funds raised on behalf of their aiga (family).
I am a close family friend to the Tasi’s, helping to support their needs as they grieve.
We would love to honour Joshuah in his final send off. Funds will be used to cover the costs of his funeral and to financially support the family in their time of grieving. Funds will be paid to Pesa, Josh’s father.
