Helping our elderly loved ones one step at a time.

Auckland

Having worked as a Nurse for the better part of 30+ years, I have had the opportunity to experience and observe how our elder population are treated. And for the most part I was not happy with what I saw. One of the most heartbreaking events that I have witnessed over the years is when someone who has lived in their family home for most of their life and because they are no longer physically able to do all the usual daily living, they are uplifted from their home and put into a facility where life literally stops for them as they know it. They become a shadow of their former self just waiting for death.

We have been able to help many Elderly loved ones through my business, Elite Elder Care -https://eliteeldercare.co.nz, but there is a growing number of Elderly having to sell their beloved family homes for various reasons like too large to manage upkeep, isolation especially after their spouse passes on, etc. So I decided to provide an alternative, to create a sanctuary where our elderly loved ones can enjoy their golden years in comfort, dignity and luxury. It'll be living as they were used to but with none of the associated burdens/challenges. It will follow my business style of being a boutique setting. This will allow personalized service and care but at the same time allowing the ever important sense of independence to be maintained.

The dream is to assist all elderly loved ones, but the reality I can achieve is to help one person at a time.
